* Lona is a 3rd generation realtor in the family business Taylor Properties which is Maryland's largest independent brokerage.  Her Broker is her father - Robb Taylor. Robb and his father Bill, started on the Eastern Shore in Greensboro in 1978 and added additional real estate offices in Easton and Federalsburg.  In 1985,  Robb decided to make his base office in Annapolis Maryland where they now have over 1,000 agents and are also in DC, VA, DE and PA.

* Lona owns and manages her own Horse Boarding Farm called Fortunate Sage Acres.  She obtained her USCG / 50 ton Master Captain's License in 1997 and has enjoyed spending every summer boating on the Chesapeake Bay and tributaries. Lona also enjoys golfing, shooting sporting clays, and horseback riding. Including jousting competitions, the state sport of Maryland. Her two grown children and her two grandsons are her greatest blessings!

* Lona has volunteered for LLS Eastern Shore and in 2014, she put together a team (Draggin Down Cancer) and raised $60,600 in just 10 weeks.  She is a past PTA president while her children were in school. She was an active volunteer for Hopeful in Easton Md, which helps the community in connection with Mid-Shore Foundation. Supports Breast Cancer Awareness!
